Ah, too far to worry about it. I'm rarely in downtown Seattle, and when I am I'm usually picking up/dropping off someone or out afterhours. I'd also be worried about some of those rail systems if the car moves through the wash. I think the wing is probably safe - those things are on there toight!

I might skimp on some parts but I do not skimp on the maintenance of my car's paint.

I suggest you get your hands on some optimum no rinse. It is amazing and makes washing a car much quicker and is a lot less messy than a traditional car wash. Check it out.
