* Stock Evo 8 Turbo
* MAP Performance o2 housing / downpipe
* STM cat delete pipe
* RMR cat back exhaust
* Buschur lower intercooler piping

E85 transporters!

Oil change before tune! 92,700 miles

New ID1000cc injectors out of the box, SpoolinUp resistor bypass.

Assembled

Unplugged the stock injector resistor pack and installed the Spoolinup bypass plug

Brought my 12mm and installed the big guns while Chad was finishing up tuning another Evo.

Here is one short pull on E85!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=tOM4uPCC_pY

Car made 353whp on 91oct at 23lbs and 379whp on E85 at 23lbs.
Kept things at this level for the stock clutch sake. I am extremely happy. Car feels strong and is a blast to drive. Thanks goes out to Chad and the guys at Modified by KC.

We were all a little surprised that the car made that much power with that low of boost. I have to believe that all the small mods added up and made this engine real efficient. Ported manifolds, 65mm TB, Spoolin Up COP kit, Blocked off all the EGR...ect.

My goal was 350 on 91 and 400 on E85 at what ever boost we needed/ or until the BOV couldn't hold anymore. I didn't expect we would only turn the boost up 1 pound! That means there is plenty left in her. Once I get a new clutch and a electric boost controller I will be heading back. For now I couldn't be happier.

Here is an E85 Graph

and the same graph with the pump map overlaid

Nice work. Your story sounds very similar to mine, having purchased a car basically stock and working quickly doing everything yourself. congrats!

In Canada we dont have E85, but Jay at Boostedtuning.com got me to 360+whp on 94 oct and I love it.

Thanks, I wish I had the clutch to support this cars potential. I decided getting to work was more important then having the car sit in the driveway with a glassed over flywheel and smoked disc

Got to love these cars, I do as much as I can myself but I'm not afraid to ask for help.. Lucky for us there are a lot of great trust worthy shop like STM and Modified by KC around!

We don't have the 93 or 94 in Kansas but we are starting to see more E85 station!
