I am looking for my first evo now and i really have my heart set on the a new gsr. I was doing some reading on it and alot of people dislike the 5 speed manual because when cruising the highway it feels like it needs another gear. How bad really is it?? I really do not want an automatic.

 

its OK, and as I know its much stronger then 6 speed manual, in Europe there is no 6 speed version at all

 

How much do you cruise on the highway?

Our 5 speed is laughably short for long term highway driving. My commute involve 0 highway miles, but if it did, it'd be annoying as hell.

 

Its not going to be my dd but i do plan on taking it on vacation to the beach (500 miles). Hotdog, how do you like the X?? I am right in the middle on a X and IX
