Evo X as a Daily Driver
Hey Guys,
Hopefully picking up my Evo X pretty soon, been reading around here a bit and learning a lot about them. It'll be my daily driver, I'll be coming from a G35S and just wondering how you guys like them as a daily driver. I'm still young so I don't mind a stiff ride, or even a loud ride. It's not going to the best on gas, but in general how have you guys from the Evo X as a daily driver from the thumbs up on your way to work to wrenching on it at home. Really broad question I know...Just want to see what your take is on how the Evo ownership has been. I look forward to hearing from you guys, and look forward to finding the perfect Octane Blue GSR SSS in the near future
Regards,
Brendan

My 5.0 Mustang was terrible on gas, but this car is not too bad.
Dont mod it more than exhaust, intake, boost controller, and a tuneif you want it for daily driving.
of course thats only engine mods...you can jack with suspension and looks
This is just my suggestion....as I modded my X i ran into more and more issues

It's perfectly fine as a DD. The ride is a bit on the firm side and the engine is pretty loud if you're cruising consistently at highway speeds, but it's still a fairly capable as a DD. You won't be as comfortable in it as you were in the G37.

I've DD'd mine for 18.5k miles. Just make sure you're ok with the driving position as there are no seat height or telescoping wheel adjustments. Long legged drivers may require painful arm stretching surgery for optimal driving comfort.
Had an MR and now I am in a GSR, been driving the X for cumlative 50k between the 2. Only regret was not just getting the GSR first cause I ended up missing the 3rd peddle. Other then that I really love the car.

Thanks for the responses, I was able to drive my friends MR around town for a bit. Driving position is perfect for me, surprisingly the blind spots a lot smaller than in the G35. But yeah he was lowered on Swifts and I didn't mind the ride. I don't expect it to be all luxury, thats why I'm getting an Evo not a 3 series. Anyways, thanks for all the input. Look forward to getting my car
I'll be DDing most of the time in the city, so I don't expect great gas mileage either. I'll probably keep it stock the first year and get used to it, then eventually do exhaust, tune, suspension mods, and a few others.
