For the turbo set up go to www.roadracemotorsports.com

And as for the engine swap, do a search for the topic. There are at least five or so topics, maybe more, on it. But it would be too expensive in the long run... just save up for a Evo if you want to have the 4g63.

Should've bought an Evo. I am sure it's not too late.

Why is it that when I read that I wanted to rhyme it with something?

Beause if you had an Evo there's no need to **********.
For if you had an Evo, you would cream your pants.
If you had an Evo, you wouldn't write these rants!

there is no f in way the evo engine is going in your lancer easy.

it is not a bolt in, it is not even a reasonably feasable swap.

so just turbo it. I could have sworn you have asked this before.

do you know chatta?

The swap may not be very difficult, but it may be expensive.

You'd need an Evolution 4-8 motor, not a DSM. So scrap your friends and be prepared to pay some big freight costs.

Simple cost vs effectiveness says that unless you're shooting for very high HP numbers there's really no reason not to work with what you have.

well sorry to be a dick but then you should have researched these things prior to buying this car.

These are all known issues that have been out there for well over a year and then some.

A 20g may be too big for the lancer's application.

Just follow HK's advice. There are tons of past info, which I am not going to dig up.

I hope you have deep pockets. You'll probably be replacing most of the drivetrain.
