Best Performance Mod
Best Performance Mod
Hey all! Just thought I would get some performance mod info. Whats everyone's favorite and best performance mod they have? I know a few will say turbo, but I'd rather have this for NA only, sorry.

how much $$$ we're u looking to spend??? i mean for just basic stuff like an intake and/or exhaust could run u about $500-$800 depending on which type of intake/exhaust u'd want. if you look around or know people that could hit ya up, then u could save alot, ALOT more!!! but like i said, this is pretty-much the basic performance mods u could do to help make the car breathe a little better!
I wasn't really lookin to buy anything right now; I'm just lookin for future references. I already have a Bosal Cat back exhaust and I proped open the airbox. I'm just seeing if anyone know any decent modifications other than turbo and nitrous.
Headers. they will give you more HP over any other mod aside from turbo. If you go kamikaze, they also give you a new downpipe as well... so you'll really see some nice gains, especially since you have your exhaust. Get a short ram too, and if you can eventually afford it, get a throttle body and maybe a high-flow cat. You'll see nice gains once you get all that stuff.
Thanks Jwerner, btw does the header void the warranty, to me it would make since that it would but I just want to make sure! Do you think I would tell a better difference then my proped open airbox compared to the RRM or RMR short rams?(Butt Dyno that is)
headers void warranty. it disposes of an emissions device so may also make it an illegal part to have on your car. but does give maybe the best gain. then intake, exhaust, throttlebody, then cams(+ all associated stuff to run said cam).
shortrams will do a bit more than a cracked open box since there is more filter area to suck in air than the stock panel filter. rmr will suck in cooler air than rrm but is also a lot heavier(slighty larger shipping price?). either way you get a teeny weeny kick in the butt at 4500 rpm.
