Where did you start...

Just wondering what are some of the cars people started to mod?

My names George I have a 1993 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD and its pretty much stock besides a Dejon intake and UICP, NGR Type s Bov, Autometer Boost Gauge, and a Blitz Turbo Timer. I have always been a DSM guy.

Thinking about how maybe in the near future I will make the jump to an Evo might look for a lower mileage 03 in White.

ALOT of people that drive evos start with dsms. I can say after having multiple dsms, it makes me appreciate the evo alot. I say save yourself as soon as you can and buy an evo, you wont regret it.

Many people have told me that. I guy I know just finished building his talon make 550 whp, he tells me to just sell that talon and get an Evo. So all I have left is to find that Evo that will make me jump into it.

I started with an Evo. It was my second car. Technically I started with the S2000 that was my first, but it was dad's car and he was modding it.

I started out with a 2000 Honda Civic Si and then a Evo after that. I never regret trading it in.

I had a 97 GST. It costs a lot of money to make DSM's fast compared to an Evo.

heh, I started with a 1980 Chevy Malibu. Did drag suspension, rebuilt the tranny, stroked a 350 to make 450Hp, never dynoed the whp.

Had to sell it, and got me my first and only Lancer.

Still have the Lancer, definitely miss the extra 300hp...but I still dig it.

Very interesting it seems if I buy an evo I really won't regret it but it might have to wait since I am still in school.

Hopefully I will find a nice one that has lower miles and has been taken care of.

I started with a '95 E36, '95 FWD Talon TSi, '95 AWD Talon TSi and now '05 Evo VIII.

Yeah I think most of us that owned DSMs in the past end up purchasing Evos later on lol.
