Picked up an Evo VIII

So I took the plunge and bought an 03 US spec Evo 8
It is silver with 70k miles, alot of oxidation on the wing, the center consol has some blemishes, and the clutch line needs to be replaced but I am happy with it so far.

It already has a new ACS clutch / lightweight flywheel, new brakes/ drilled/slotted rotors, 3" turbo back "magnaflow" exhaust

In the first 3 weeks I have replaced the center console, new OEM floormats, put in a HKS turbo timer type 1, HKS super mega flow, SSQ bov, just made it mine "full detail", and just threw in a short throw

I have ordered or am looking for Defi gauges, 3 pod A pillar, advan RGII, fully adjustable track coilovers, tanabe front/rear sway bars, front/rear struts

The goal for this car is by the time i leave germany on Jan 24, 2013 to be running sub 8's on the nurburgring. Last weekend I ran a 11:10btg but that had to do with comfort with 20million gt3rs's blowing past me

I am going to keep my stock enki with some all weather for the german winters and then this winter save up and put in the money for the RGII's I want.

Thats my plan, blow it apart...

congrats on the new ride, I'm not sure what options you have there but I'm sure we could shave some time off with a slick remote tune http://www.mellontuning.com/index.ph...dex&cPath=1_28

congrats on the car, but why a US spec 03 8? i would think if you have access to it, you'd want either a UK, JDM, or even one offered in your own country because of the fact that the US 8's had neither ACD nor AYC among other standard features.

So in 2 years i can take it back to the states without issue, its a huge hassle to ship RHD so much of a pain in the *** that its not worth it to me.
