So how common are the ACD issues? And is it enough of a problem to warrant buying one of the earlier models without it? I've been doing some research - currently drive a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 and was looking at Evo X's until I realized how overweight they are. I would love to get an IX but I really don't want to waste my time tracking down electrical gremlins.

03-04 models don't have ACD, correct? Would I be better off getting one without it?
