Engine removal

Engine removal

I'm taking my engine out of my Evo 9 (dropping it) and do I need to take out my cross member because it seems to be in the way...

Remove/ move Transfer case.
Remove/ move transmission.
Pull engine from top.

i pulled my evo 9 engine out thru the top with the trans still attached, i took crossmember out and lowered engine to ground and manuver it back up thru the top no problem

yea that was the other option that i was going to consider doing. I just gotta take the crossmember out and drop the front side of the driveshaft with it because my bolt is stripped! anyways thanks for the help man.

on the drivetrain, theres a metal line that you have to unbolt(19mm). was kinda hard to see, but noticed it when i had the engine on a cherry picker and shook it. It's actually going better than i expected. How long does it take you all to take out your motors?
