hey,

i am in the market for an EVO X and i prefer to buy used to save some money. the pickings around my area are VERY slim so finding a used one for a good price is almost impossible. this one has been for sale for about a month now and i was considering driving the 90 minutes this weekend and checking it out. from the pictures the car looks nice and the price is good. the only things that jumped at me are:

1) the car was serviced at Pep Boys which is a big freaking red flag since we all know the quality of work they do.
2) in the Carfax, the car was auctioned to this dealer as a repossessed vehicle. now, i understand that sometimes people fall on hard times and it normally doesn't mean anything but i still get the bad mojo from this thing

advice?

 

The repo thing scares me because it makes you think that someone who neglects paying their bills might neglect their car too.
