Saving an abused Evo
Saving an abused Evo
So last night I went down to look at a low mileage evo. I get to the dealership and right away I see that it wasn't detailed. Great i can see all the defects and tell there are no painted panels.Time for a test drive..Holy soft clutch batman. This kinda gave me the feeling it could be the stocker..I hope. No t-case whine every gear was smooth except 5th.It had a little bit of a grind.Shes a turd..deff needs a tune. The undercarriage has abit of rust that just bothers me.that needs to be grinded down primered and sealed. she deff needs some work but i could'nt stand seeing her mistreated. I kinda felt sorry for the damn thing. She will make a great project car.pictures will be coming soon.

Watch out for some dealers. They charge you out the *** and then you may run into problems. I prefer buying a car someone has takin care of and get to know the owner so i personally know how a car's been treated. Considering it's an EVO most likely the person who took it to the dealer to trade in has dogged it. They may have even dogged it more since they were trading it in. Just my .02
That's a good start. Hoping to be around the 400+hp mark?
