I'm trying to find out what year the evo8's came with the "MR Edition" badge on the trunk? When to my local Mitsubishi dealership and was told they couldn't find this emblem in their system. I can't upload the picture but it is a red rectangle in the bottom right side of the trunk. "MR" is big on top and "edition" is smaller across the bottom.

I wasn't able to find this emblem at Mitsubishi dealership with my 2005 mr vin# . Was this emblem on all 2005 mr models or something else? Well any one want to get rid of one?

 

2005 is the year Mitsubishi introduced the MR on the Evo 8s. There also is a 2006 Evo 9 MR fyi.

 

Yep i own a 9 mr they are the awesome

 

Figured it out, this badge was sold as an accessory by Mitsubishi, if any one else cares.
