need help plsss

im new to evo n i just bought it last month. my evo got strange idle if i release the gas paddle. n its happen too when on the road if im going to slow down n sometimes the rpm drops to below idle n cause the engine off. here is the link to the video, pls help me on this.

yea mods would help a lot, it sounds like you have a bov on venting, if so take that pos off, slap yourself for putting it on, and put a IX Diverter valve on.

thats the prob, i bought this car from dealer n the dealer dont know the history of this car. the engine also stall when starting n when comes to stop. i need to put on gas to start the engine. i only can tell the bolt on for the car. dont know whats inside the engine.
here the list:

bov hks
intercooler with lower pipe
tomei cam gear
invidia exhaust
gready turbo
got hks fuel injector rail( dont know if it got mod injector)
got loud wisel on fuel pump
hks air cleaner
apexi ecu with out pfc( dealer didnt gave it)
sard fuel regulator( without gauge)
hks twin power
racing performance condenser
grounding on body, engine n alternator
hks boost controller.

i did put some pic on my profile, take a look at there too. tq

i would say that it is the hks bov, slap a stock bov on there and see if that cures the problem

ok thanks, should i use ori bov or can i change the bov with other brands? i like the hks sound. thanks anyway.

when can i use hks bov then?

using a recirulating bov will work i think astock one will confirm if that is your problem.
also when you go on map sensor or speed density you can use any blow off valve or none at all

im tightening some of air line from bov, n i dont hv to put on gas when i started the engine. its idle perfectly but the idle drops when im revving. i did try it on the road n the engine didnt stalling when it comes to stop. but still got the low idle for a sec n comes back to normal.

check for a vacuum leak also ive worked on a few buddies cars and the vacuum signal to the egr is always off...

NP man good luck...o it wouldnt hurt to clean your maf sensor either(if your still on maf)

there are lots of good links on how to do that vacuum test at low cost to yourself. i just did one on my car last week. took about an hour though for me
