It's fine to use if you think you have a lot of build-up. You can also put some in your gas to help clean out the fuel system and injectors.

I used this on my DD. 212k miles on my elantra. i did the fuel, vacuum and into the oil. i changed the oil the next day and it came out jet black and usually its just dark brown. anyway the car felt like it retrieved some lost power but it could have just been in my head.

If your cars getting up there in mileage it can't hurt. I did it on my evo and not much was coming out of the exhaust, but I didn't do it in the oil. The engine did feel smoother though.

I've done all three methods of Seafoam application on my Evo. It now has 110+ K miles on it. It works honestly. I used to have problems at idle and bogging down at low speeds (completely stock except for air filter) and it fixed the issue when I sucked it in through the brake booster line. It also helped me discover what (I think) is an exhaust leak.

It cleaned a bit of buildup out of my engine since I've been running ethanol free gas for a little while now.

But I've used it in all three applications on an Evo and as long as you follow directions, you'll be fine.
