Hey guys, I am a complete noob to the Evo world and I have a few questions pertaining the engine and certain power levels that I would like to attain. I don't currently have an Evo but I am interested in buying one sometime soon. Just to give some background, I am coming from the BMW world having owned a 430 WHP, 450 TQ 2009 335i sedan. I loved that car but I want to get something more aggressive that will not be a daily driver but instead only for weekends and pure fun. Please, remember that attaining 440 WHP on a 335i is a rather easy task, I only had a full exhaust, intake, upgraded FMIC, a tune and a meth kit.

So these are my goals for an Evo 9.

- 550 WHP / 500 WTQ requirement (or however more is needed to meet below 1/4 mile reqs)
- Meth is acceptable as is 100/110 octane
- High 10's in the 1/4 with traps over 130
- No ethanol
- Engine must be built
- This will not be a daily driver, so full weight is not needed and big turbo lag is not an issue.


Given the above requirements, how much would a setup of this sort cost?
