Finally got my Evo!
Finally got my Evo!
Been lurking on here for years, knowing I would eventually end up with an Evo, and now the time has come
Was hunting for the perfect Evo IX since the fall, and of course had a tough time finding a clean one, even had one snagged 1 hour before I arrived to look at it...
Found the perfect Evo 2hrs away in Pennsylvania, it's a Graphite Grey SE with 48k miles, car is mint... incredibly clean and bone stock! Thought it was too good to be true so I had a local Mitsu tech take a look at the car, and he told me he had never seen a 2006 so pristine and untouched. Took it home last weekend and have been grinning ever since, trying to sneak in rides any chance I can (my daily driver is the subway).
The car will be replacing my Supercharged Miata (97 M-Edition) with a handful of extras (Roll Bar, Hardtop, exhaust, intake, blah, blah...) which I've had a tremendous amount of fun with over the last 4 years. Let me know if anyone is looking for a smaller ride
Immediate plans are to get a set of star specs, some track worthy brake pads, and maybe a MR bilstein set-up. Once I'm used to (bored with) the power, I'll go with the typical bolt-ons + a tune... but for now, I feel bad messing with such a clean, mint evo!

That picture would've made it into the EvoM calendar if you had the car by then
congrats on your purchase, if I didn't have a red evo, I would have a GG one

Agree with the other guys - great pic! Love the Miata, as well.
