Help!!!! Buying a used EVO!

Some of you are pretty hard headed, let me break it down for you.
I drove a 2009 cobalt SS, fully bolted and tuned for e85. The car was ~330whp/~400tq and weighs 2900lbs. Yes it was faster. I hate to break it to you but this car would rape this evo past 60. I did not say it was a better car, I said it was faster than my evo, which I believe is not currently tuned. My buddy that had the same setup on the cobalt trapped 116 in the 1/4. So until you drive a tuned cobalt or run against one, don't try and tell me 'facts' on which car is faster.

You are saying that only AFTER 60 mph, the cobalt is faster?
When Micheal Jordan plays basketball on one leg, with one arm, and blindfolded I can totally own him in 1 on 1.......
If you take all of Bill Gates' money away I totally have more money......
My geo metro is so much faster than a Ferrari with no fuel in the tank and missing its keys........
If the final exams are graded on a Bell Curve I totally have a "B" instead of "D".......
I am the smartest man in the world, when I live in the year 10,000BC..........
My cobalt is faster than a stock Evo if it has a ****ty tune and we start the race after 60mph........

Don't take it personal man I am just messing around. I know what you meant, you were saying that your particular car is faster than that particular car.

EVO for sure
The cobalt SS is ok but it has limitations on how fast it can be and not just from a straight line stand point. The EVO can is fast in a drag race but most of its speed ability is in cornering on an autocross or a road course. The EVO is ten times better than the Cobalt can be. That is the good news. The bad news people do not do the right things and they almost always tear up the tranny and the transfer case as long as you go in to it knowing you have to rebuild these two and replace the clutch your good.
So buy the EVO get shep to rebuild the Tranny for $895 and the transfer case for roughly about $1800 or so depending on if you need a new ring and pinion (dont go Cheap you evently have spend alot here so do it the first time //trust me) and then get an exedy twin disc clutch for $1600 and you'll be off at the races just like that.

Maybe a broken EVO or a messed up EVO or a bad driver EVO, but never a good EVO.
I have beatin' so many I will not even waste my gas anymore!!!!!!
Again this is where potential comes into play the EVO has super potential in so many ways it is unreal, but the cobalt is very limited.
