Hi im Brandon (Newbie)

Hi im brandon, im new to evos but i just picked up a 2005 rally red evo with 70000 miles, looking and searching right now to further modd. I will post pics soon. I came from the srt4 world i liked the torque but needed traction so im here and have a car with all wheel drive now. If you could give any pointers on what brands or things to do that would be very much appreciated thanks. my car modds as follows:

AMS front mount intercooler
Hotcikis front and rear sway bar
forge blow off valve
tomie exhaust dump to 3 inch downpipe with megan catback
running only 19 pounds
tunned by AMS at least thats what seller said

Congrats and welcome!

My suggestion is before you get to modding make sure your 60k service stuff was done!! Water pump, timing belt, etc. Thats very important. Unfortunetly if it wasnt done it needs to get done ASAP!

As far as brands, I'm a big fan of ETS (Extreme Turbo Systems), and Buschur. They both make an amazing product at very fair prices! I've had all of my ported parts done by PPI (Paradigm Performance Innovation). They are awesome to deal with.

Hope this helps! Best of luck!

Welcome Brandon, congrats on your buy! I too just bought a rr evolution 9 right before christmas. I must say I love it. I'm sure its a huge step up after owning a SRT. What are your plans for your car? Do you want to bring it on the track or keep it on the streets? I would maybe consider tunning for E85. The one I bought had 76,000 miles and I've been told that the 60k needs to be done! It's very important with these cars, its not like most cars where you can push it off.
