Need advice on the next mod?

Usually I get mad when people ask this type of question but I'm new to these cars and I really want to know what's best to invest my money in. I got the car used and the mods were not fully explained to me but here's what I'm sure I have...

Turbo back exhaust ( high flow cat) I may put a test pipe in
Intake
BOV
Upper intercooler piping
Walbro fuel pump ( unsure of model)
swift racing springs w/ refurbished bilsteins

From what I've read, my next mod would ideally be LICP . Would it benefit me to just go ahead and upgrade the FMIC with it? Is there an ideal diameter for a stock turbo car?

I'm not really looking to spend more than $1000 in mods at the moment

The car also does not have a boost controller that I know of nor an aftermarket boost gauge so I'll be picking those up for sure.

Yes.

I would say ETS 3.5 and an ETS licp.

Manual boost controller would be nice.

Good luck.

Sounds like you have the basics covered pretty well. I agree that a MBC and possibly a LICP would be a great next step. Also do you know if the car is tuned?

Imo i like the hks evc for controlling the boost kind of on the expensive side but never had any problems so far and its been 2.5 years. But i agree with what they said.

^ +1 on the tune. You could get a MBC, boost gauge, evoscan/tactrix cable and a quality "remote" tune for less than $1k.

Even with the stock front mount, there's a lot of potential there with a boost controller and tune
