New Evo owner from WI!
New Evo owner from WI!
Hi everyone, my names Scott. I'm 20 years old, been building Honda's for the last few years. I am a tech at an Acura dealer, and finally decided it was time to upgrade from my Civic. I bought a 2005 WW Evo, has 23k miles on it, and is in amazing condition. Has the SSL package as well as factory HID's. Previous owner put on an FP green turbo, Synapse Synchronic BOV, Buddy Club coilovers, among other small mods here and there. Only problem right now is it is only running on 12 psi, so I need to start troubleshooting that. Otherwise this car is a ton of fun.
My near future plans:
-Carbon fiber hood
-Carbon fiber trunk
-Carbon fiber roof diffuser
-Carbon fiber front lip
-1000 cc FIC injectors and Walbroro 255 and drive it down to AMS for a tune
-17x9 RPF1's
Here's some pics.

Here's some pics of my Civic. Has a fully built D16 in it... I built the engine over the winter. Forged everything, was planning on making 350-400 hp on it this year but started to lose interest, will most likely be parted out this summer. I fully shaved the engine bay (welded all the holes shut) and did a full wire tuck... maybe I'll pull some of my wire tuck magic on the Evo. I do tucks on the side for locals. I have had a handful of different engines for this car, B16, H22, etc. I had a supercharger for the d series, but ended up building it for boost. I painted the engine bay a different color every winter since I pulled the engine out every winter. This year was silver with a glitter flake in it, last years was gold.

NICE find... i'm from MN and I picked up a WW Evo IX with 31K on it... It's VERY clean as well!! I have TEIN coil overs on mine, and it rides SO rough... how are your buddy clubs??
I too came form the Honda world as well... I have an EM1 EBP Civic with seven thousand nine hundred original miles!!! (7900) !!!
I really enjoy the the Evo's power and AWD capabilities!
Congrats on the car, and welcome!!!

Holy low mile em1 lol. That's a collectors item at this point. My Buddy Clubs actually ride really well... my Civic was on Ground Controls and KYB AGX and I had maxed out my coilovers, so I was lowered over 3.5". I thought that rode pretty well too, I love stiff suspension though.
My Si has stock struts with Eibach progressive lowering springs and it rides like it's stock... I REALLY like the ride of the SI...
the Evo however, with Mono Flex Racing coilovers, i'm not a big fan... it's time for a change...
