New Evo owner

Hey everyone! I'm new to the Evo family finally just got a 2006 MR two days ago, I'm so happy with it. I last had a Mustang so this is definitely a nice upgrade. I know there aren't many other girls that own Evos too but I hope to meet some!

The car is pretty much stock except the coils, exhaust, and it's catless. Just replaced the front door speakers last night. Next is getting some tires for my NT03's(still debating on tire size). Once the wheels are on I'll be dropping the car lower. After all that I'm later taking off the wing maybe, get a BOV, harnesses/bar(because I want too haha), get a new lip, then TRY to find a JDM rear bumper but that seems to be impossible.

Here's a couple of pictures:

For tire size you could run 245/40/17. Hankook is a real good brand but Nexon or sumitomo tires are good also. Enjoy:-)

welcome to Evom, Amanda. It's definitely refreshing to see a girl who's into cars. Next up, post pictures of yourself.

Welcome! I just traded my IX last weekend lol.

What size wheels are you running? JDM rear bumpers aren't super hard to find but they're not cheap. I know Lancer Shop has OEM JDM factory painted bumpers for sale I think they're around $900 plus shipping. I'd go with the Buschur Racing harness bar (https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...0f880125b0ab69) because you can quick disconnect it....you may think you will never want to take it off/apart but trust me, after having mine installed for 3 years you'd be surprised how often you wish it wasn't there.

GL!

looks clean, hope you enjoy it.

at least you won't have to worry about your wife getting on you when you start buying parts and start leaving them around the house. if your man gets on you just tell him to stop being a pansy. I've been reminded several times about leaving my intake manifold in the laundry room. lol

As it sits, your car's suspension is FUBAR. Lowering it further will only make things worse. Good luck.

Congratulations and welcome to The Evo World! Great upgrade! There are a few girls on here, I'm glad another one is added! If you need a JDM IX rear bumper, I have two brand-new in stock, but I'm in Jersey...Enjoy that car!

My wheels are 18x9.5 +27. I'm either going to for a little stretch(225/40) or a little more (215/40). Yeah I saw on the Lancer Shop there's some by the brand ATT I think but it doesn't say if I comes painted or not. I was actually thinking about that harness bar or the Sparco one. Thank you!
