So I've been on here for a couple months now posting in other sections. I guess I just over looked this one. I am new to Evos but not to DSMs. My first car was a 96 eclipse gst. I ended up fully building that car with a 2.4 stroker. I recently purchased my 05 Evo 8 from a member on here. I don't know his user name cause I never asked him. It already had some nice mods done to it but nothing too serious. Now I'm changing some things on it to make it mine. I love this car!

Congrats on the car. What do you have planned? Gonna build the block? Change to E85?

 

Well right now im fighting some kind of either boost leak or fuel cut problem so i gotta get that figured out. Once that's figured out I plan to upgrade the fuel pump and go with some 650 injectors and call it a day for now. Im in BFE New Mexico so the highest octane fuel I can get my hands on is 91 and thats only on base. On top of that Im about 4200 feet above sea level. So Im just going to change some exterior things like add a vortex generator, evo 7 tails, jdm rear bumper, and probably go with a evo 9 front bumper. Once I go back home or if I get stationed on the east coast Ill probably change over to E85 and chase 600hp.
