Quick sell probably get like 25k. Or take it to the dealership and push them hard to the 27-28 area.

I am wondering this to from the other side as a buyer. Its times like that i find it hard to believe you would find someone to spend $30k on a 7 yearold car? I keep seeing all these 06 evo's in the mid $20's and its just insane i mean u can buy 2 yearold bmw's for that. Im not being negative by any means i just wanna hear from a sellers view on how they think a 7 yearold car is worth roughly 5k less than it was brand new that would be amazing value retention.

I'd pay 23-24 depending on the condition mechanically and cosmetically.
A lot of sellers like to toss around the word "mint" when they have a door dinged car, with deep brillo pad swirl marks, worn seat bolsters and dirty brown floormats (I'm not saying you, just my observations.)

If it was an exceptionally clean example, I'd offer 24.
Clean, but looks somewhat "used" 23.

All depends on the market, and the buyer. Well, and the car itself.

Put up some pictures for us!!

MR 9 with only 14k? That should easily be 25-27. If someone offers you less tell them good luck finding one of these cars with that low of mileage. 98% of these cars are beat and modded. Some people see modding their car as adding value but IMO that's just showing you how much more its been beat on. 14k miles and stock is a rare find for sure. 23 is a lowball

I paid 22k for a 03 with only 11k miles. So you asking 25k for yours is right on point.

i find it hard to believe.. but its like a classic car.. yes it will be old but restored (mine doesnt even need restoration) it still SMELLS NEW!
i mean people pay 69k for a 1980 car.. thats almost 30 y.o.!
it was 43k and privately is 30 but if i go through a dealer im pushing for 27 - 28 like said above

Get in contact with NJ_evoixgsr He is looking for one just like your selling. I almost wish I would of gotten yours if I could of swinged it but Im looking to build motor so the mivec and acd had no good benefits to me. Damn nice though for being stock and low mileage.

Thanks tdt. I would bite in a heart beat if it were in the tri-state. Unfortunately, I do not want to fly out to a location and who knows if it is a for sure buy. In this case, this guy is selling a very low mileage 06 ix mr which is perfect but all the way in cali. That's putting 3k miles on a road trip!! If I ask for shipping who knows what I get when it gets there. I trust people but not with 26k of my hard earned money. If I make the mistake buying it in person then it's on me.

OP, I would personally pay more because most of these sellers on here and even dealers are pricing out their EVOs. I would pay between 26-27k because of mileage and if it is mint as you are stating. It would almost depend on preference of the buyer as I would love for it to be in WW or GG. Best colors but all colors of an evo are still sexy.

Mike

If you think the BMW will hold it's value in about 3-5 years, then you are wrong. The car hobby is all about depreciation but the EVO especially in MINT condition are appreciating quickly.

MARKET DEMAND is key in this situation. BMW will NOT hold it's value as the EVO is. If someone else can say otherwise, I'd be very amused.

i think alot of people are overly attatched to their evo's thats why they ask the prices they do. and people that say oh id pay $28-30k no prob arnt about to sell out that much cash. dont get me wrong this will be my second evo i had an 05 mr with 55k. so i love the cars and i understand supply and demand. and i agree if your car is truly "showroom" condition then its worth paying top dollar. but i truly think that term gets thrown around way to often.

hahaha i'm sure you would bite down ! and a 3k roadtrip is nooo good!
and i would never take money unless it was given to me.. I am serious about that! hahaha i am only in high school (17) and would have to go through a lot just to do something this bad. and what i am stating is true! it has been living in the garage ever since it was bought! and yes the color is WW

Well i mean i'm not really into the whole value thing once i find the right car for me! honestly i just want something better on gas being in high school and still fun to drive!and i hope they are appreciating quickly! i want that value go up!

TBH yes i agree with you i am starting to get over attatched to it. i am wanting a bmw but at the same time i want this!and i hope they pay 30k! Thats EXACTLY what i am looking for! i am looking for someone who will love and appreciate the car as much as i did! i want them to take care of it but still enjoy it!and yes the car has been sitting in the garage most of it's life everyday! i just need to vaccuum it and wash the rims from the brake dust and it is like new again! it still has that new smell in it!I only use that term when i know it is showroom condition! i mean light swirling(LIKE REALLLLY LIGHT) but other than that it's perfect!
