New to this forum

Hey everyone, so I just signed up for this forum and I am looking to buy an evo really soon. I'm looking for probably an 03-06 completely stock so I can work on it myself. I currently drive a 2006 turboed Nissan sentra but I have always loved the evo. I am part of a sentra forum but I am new here so I am hoping to get used to this forum and have my evo soon

Welcome aboard.

Owned my 03 for about nine years now and have been very impressed with this car. Not many other cars out there for the performance, price and versatility wrapped all in one.

Good luck with your search.

Welcome! I just bought an Evo one week ago and you've made the right decision. Good luck with your search!

Good luck with your search - like sombody mentioned earlier, it's hard to find a completely stock Evo in those years. The one I bought was "as close to stock" as any other ones I looked at, and even then the mods weren't that bad. Be patient and don't jump on the first one you see. You'll be happy you did!

Ok. So I found a blue 2003 evo at a local dealership that only had an aftermarket exhaust. But the clear coat on the carbon fiber part of the spoiler was coming off and looks like the paint is ruined on the back bumper by the black around the exhaust that looks like its baked on. And they're asking 10,999. Is that a good price or does that mean there might be something wrong? I'm not too familiar with evos so I thought I would get everyone's opinion

10,900 is a good price. Black is normal on the exhaust, if it was white then you could worry.. Again, get someone to check it out...

Also, run a carfax on it.

First off welcome to the forums, I bought my car stock and I'm the 2nd owner so that was hard to find this one. Building this car has been TONS of fun and experience so definitely GLW it.

As far as the price goes on that Evo, how many miles? If close to or passed 60K definitely ask if the 60K service was done on it. Definitely a high importance for these vehicles. Price wise sounds legit since the Evos have went up on value so if it all checks out clean GOOD DEAL!
