What are your plans with it?

 

Great job, you will love it!! Also, try not to get the modding bug right away (minor stuff is fine obviously)... enjoy it stock for awhile!

 

No real plans as of yet. Only mods I've doen so far are in the audio department. the stock amp in the SSS package is kind of pathetic. Don't get me wrong it sounds much better than most factory installed systems but it's a little weak and limited. So far I've changed the head unit to a Pioneer Avic X940bt and in a few minutes I'll head to the audio shop to have my Alpine MRV-F450 installed along with some new Polk speakers and components upfront. Not changing the rears. Never changed rear speakers cause they're basically filler anyway and takeaway from the sound stage. Stock sub is actually not bad.

Now as far as engine I'll more than likely do a stage 1 sometime before summer. Not getting too crazy with this car. My decision on keeping this car is based how the 2015 STI and the 2015 Evo specs look. I love both cars lol!

 

Congrats man! My buddy in the summer last year bought a brand new OB X GSR. I like the Xs, they have grown on me the last couple years Enjoy it

 

LOL. I thought that too until I owned one! Got rid of my 03 Mustang GT and Lincoln LS for the Bimmer. Thought I would downgrade to one car. BMW's are damn finicky to the point it takes away from the enjoyment of driving it. Everyday I would cringe starting that car up and looking towards the nav screen hoping and praying it didn't have some type of malfunction message. I went for one week without the service or malfunction message popping up! The GM transmission on the 328 is a complete joke. It hesitates and jerks while searching for first and second. Took it back so many times only to be told it's normally...So I have a car that cost close to 50,000 bucks and drives like a old Chevy S-10 pickup with a bad 2nd gear synchro!! This problem is well known. I was told to drive it in sport mode.

Also had electrical problems eg.. brake lights stuck on when car was turned off, drivers side turn signal would constantly go out but if I hit the horn it would come back on lol, bluetooth would disconnect randomly, Navigation would stop working, window roll down feature would kick in without hitting any buttons and these problems weren't just on my car. Others are having the same issues! Visit any Bimmer forum or talk to an owner of one it's not utopia over there lol. And don't get me started on the 335 that car with its going into limp mode because the fuel injectors blew! They are nice to look at and drive but the problems they exhibit and the cost to fix are too much! If any of you guys are thinking about buying one hit me up I'll give u the complete lowdown on them. The older BMW's were built like tanks! These new ones are less than to be desired.
