Bought my first Evo!

So I just recently bought the car I've always wanted. I feel like I nabbed up a very clean one too. Here's a few pics from the ad where I found it. Just wanted to say hey in the evo 1-9 specific forums. I can't wait to start working on her.

Only a few problems to list. The tires are 7 years old (the car wasn't driven much). So that's on my list to find a wheel/tire setup I like the most. Swift Spec-R springs are already in the mail as well. Its also throwing a code for an rear O2 sensor and is running really rich. Sounds like I just need a O2 sensor spacer or tune to get rid of it. From reading up, it sounds like it happens when you get an aftermarket exhaust, if I'm correct?

Well thanks for listening. Glad to be part of a great new group of people.

Nice car and good luck. If it was me, I would be fixing the wires under the hood and the sending unit arrangements for your gauges. Also remove the a/f gauge you have and install a wideband. Low mileage car! Have fun!

looks nice and seems like a pretty good deal. your rear o2 will throw a code if you have some high flow cats or no cats at all. i agree with way2low get rid of the A/F and get a wideband but also get yourself a tune to ensure shes running right and the last owner didnt garage tune it and ruin it.

welcome and hope you enjoy yours!
