Hi All from Bakersfield, CA
Whats up all, new member here from Bakersfield, CA.
I have a 2012 PB GSR. I've had it for less than a year now and clocked in over 18,000 miles on it and I have come to love it as well get annoyed by a few of its quirks which i am sure all of you know.
What I like:
It is quick, after owning a certain SUV with plenty of get up and go it all of sudden doesn't seem so adequate after rolling in the evo. Even after owning a sport bike the evo seems adequately quick and entertaining.
Handles like a dream. It is tight and highly responsive, though i do notice i take every turn just a bit faster than i used to.
Great Seats!!
Bluetooth in the stereo system is great. Always pairs with my phone and always starts and stops when it should.
It is quite a looking with its aggressive front fascia and big red calipers peeking from its wheels. I get lots of comments and looks about it especially from the younger crowd.
What I dont like:
It is sort of a rattle bucket as many threads here clearly mention. Rattles just spring up on this thing from everywhere. I plan to take it apart and quieting it down where I can but man... no modern car should be like this.
Mitsubishi cut costs on painting some of the areas that are less seen. I see them all the time and they bug me a little.
Summary:
It is by no means a perfect car but it is so capable in what it excels in that it is easy to overlook its deficiencies in some areas. I see my self owning this awesome piece of machinery for a long long time even if some assembly is required.
