this is the quote from road race motor sports under the cat test pipe. i was looking to change exhaust, using the RRM exhaust, and then was also planing on changing the cat-back and airfilter. but if the test pipe that RRM has is for racing only, then it would do me any good in the streets is that right?

 

The test pipe is illegal on the streets. RRM recomends that you only use the test pipe for racing. They say to keep your stock one for on road use.
I would like to get the test pipe, even though it is illegal.

No one will know you have it unless they looked under your car, but it still would be hard to see exactly what it is.

 

i have a test pipe it is great i dont care is it isnt leagel

noone is gonna see it unless they look and the only time youll need to change back is when you have to go for inspection or smog test

racing only is more of a way to say hey we sell the product were just not responsible if you get pulled over by a duech bag
