Do you have projector or reflector type lamps? I'm not sure if the halogen headlamps on the X still use the projectors. The 9's do.

Nope they are 10k. At first I thought they were too blue but I started to like them after a while. They are pretty good quality too just not as strong as the high end HID's. BTW do you need a HID conversion kit or just looking for bulbs? If you really do have a 2013 Evo X I would not waste my money on cheaper parts not that they don't work, just if you have that nice a of car why not spend the extra money and get quality products.

+!1
Spend the extra money and get quality parts. You're not spending that much more and you'll have peace of mind knowing you have the good stuff.

yes ddmtuning.com, i bought a cheap kit and the bulbs kept overheating on me, they came from china so getting ahold of tech support was impossible. So i threw them out, not to mention from day one they had that flicker that cheaper HID's have....so upon reading on the forum i went with ddm tuning, i believe the kit was around $70 for the 55 wat HID kit, and it was easy to install, doesnt have the flicker, and they fit perfect

I would not recommend DDM Tuning. Contact them with a problem and they will treat you like a child. Lifetime warranty on the bulbs but they fail to tell you that you have to wait 6 weeks to get a replacement bulb. Even if they originally sent you the wrong bulb, you still have to wait.

The retrofit source and get your headlights converted to a proper projector lens (or buy SSS headlights). Put HIDs in a housing meant for halogen bulbs and you are just asking to be F'ed with by the police while pissing off every person on the road coming towards you.

Then get their kit in a 4300k - 5000k temp. Anything higher is useless. OEM quality > Sylvania D2S Xenarc bulbs or the Philips equivalent.

55w is overkill IMO. The higher the wattage, the whiter the light, so if you are after a nice blue, 35w is ample with 8000k. Lifetime warranty on an item that is designed to last 3000 odd hours sounds shifty to me.

I bought mine from DDMTuning... I vouch for that site a thousand times over.

3 words... LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. I blew a set of bulbs, they gave me an RM number and the rest is history. A few years later still shining strong.

any of you guys get the error code eliminators from ddm tuning? Do they get rid of flicker like the jrox drl bypass? I don't want to bypass my drls but I'm worried I might have flicker with my hids. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these.
