EGR system Removal.. PLEASE HELP
EGR system Removal.. PLEASE HELP
Hi I have put a evo 7 engine into my evo 6. I have done my best to set it all up to how it was on my old engine... The evo 7 engine has a stock turbo and it did have a EGR system witch I removed. I put my evo 6 inlet manifold on so there's no sensors at all.. when I removed the EGR system I was left with 2 holes in the exhaust manifold witch I plugged with some bolts???? Is that the right thing to do?? cause of how the manifold joins the 2 ports together on each end....???
My car runs like a ***** when I drive slow.. It stars ok an idles ok maybe with a slight miss. When I drive it slow it like starves for fuel with like a flat spot... When I give it some revs an boost it drives like it should.. all good under load..
I don't know what to do. I have changed just about every thing over from my old engine.. No vacuum leaks. The only thing l can think of is the manifold were the egr was in place.. Any ideas would much appreciated..

Do you have any pictures of these two holds, I can't seem to remember for the life of me where and what they look like. Also why didn't you just keep the factory evo 7 manifold and just just leave the sensor's in unplugged. I'm not wondering if the car is running poorly because so many sensors are not there?
