Damn,an 8 huh? Not bad. Do you know any flaws that the 8s and the 9s have? I would like to know more, before i purchase a 9 myself.

Intake, Turbo Back Exhaust, Tune. Then if you want add a fuel pump, injectors, rail and a re-tune on E85. Car will really wake up with the E85

I can honestly say that your best bet is to hold off on mods first, besides maybe an exhaust. Learn the car and do your research. I am currently on my second Evo and things have gone much smoother the second go around. My first Evo was a wreck because I jumped into mods to quick and it resulted in buying parts more than once.

What to take from this.....Research, Research, Research

The car looks great. You will love it

Welcome to the club!

Clean Evo VIII you have there! Besides the intake and Exhaust, I would get a fuel pump as well. That will be the first thing to hold you back on a dyno.

Depending on your power goals, before your tune I would invest in a clutch with a higher clamp rating. The stock clutch depending on how you/previous owner drive) could be a big restricter for what you can do at the tuner shop. From what I have researched a stock evo 8 clutch slips around 350whp. On a Dyno Dynamics AWD Lowboy 450 Chassis dynamometer I made 294/275 my stock clutch was slipping in every gear, and wasn't able to unlock the full potential of my bolt ons. Granted my evo was purchased at 90k.
