Allow myself to introduce... myself?

Hey there everyone my name is Paul aka bomer

I am not new to forums Im a supermod up on 7thgenhonda.

Not new to cars or turbo's I have a 2003 RHD turbo'ed 7thgen civic only one in North America. A honda del sol and Now an Evo 9 MR

I have played with All wheel drive a little bit but this is the first time I have ever played with an evo, and so far pretty impressed.

the guy who owned it before me had this red velvet interior in it

so I changed that out to this its a little better Imo

he also had all these gauges in there most of them pointless like Narrowband afr and vacuum gauge

so I cleaned it up to this

The car has a Mishimoto intercooler and radiator. it had a knock off greddy BOV which I switched to a Tomei BOV that recirculates. 3 inch turbo back exhaust and injen upper and lower intercooler piping. and 35% tint all around.

I have picked up a team rip rear diff cover with sight glass cause it is looking a little damp around the rear diff so I want to replace the seals and while I am in there re stack the clutch plates in the diff to what they are supposed to be. and replace the rear cover.

I have also picked up a taxtrix cable and downloaded ecu flash and I just need to find a data logging program so I can start tuning this thing.

Anyways thats my car any questions or comments just ask

Cheers!

Great year/color/trim

Why the hell would anyone put red velvet in an evo? Dafuq?

Glad to see you've made some changes for the better. You're next step would be to put a bigger FMIC on it. Your current one doesnt fill the gap on your aftermarket bumper well.

Looks like a great platform! Have fun

Thanks man!

I guess the kid who had it before me was a jugelo huge Insane clown posse fan. he did red velvet on the back deck, the trunk floor, the arm rest on the center console and all the door cards. and he did black on the headliner and the sides of the trunk which actually does not look bad. but the red yeah that had to go. and it is definitely getting a bigger intercooler at some point to help fill in all that space. I want to tune it some first though.

It is simple answer... cause rally car lol. I was in a field having fun and I am not sure what I hit but I hit something and I broke the bottom lip of the oem bumper and dented in the intercooler. its not leaking any so it is fine for the moment but I will get a new one at some point one that fits in better and will be able to satisfy my power goals.

Welcome! I would also like to see the before pictures once you first got it of all the interior. when I first read jugalo, I thought you misspelled gigolo lol but hey, he could have been both right?! but I say, swap out that front bumper for an OEM one and the FMIC should fit perfectly, and hide that little indentation from your accident

I would bet not much, since that crappy OEM plastic board cracks when you simply look at it.

Nah I will get a new one at some point I'm not going to switch back to the oem bumper I like the gt spec bumper better. I have noticed a lot more front end down force with the gt spec bumper which I like. and sorry but I don't have any pics of the rest of the interior before I changed it.
