I have been into the car scene for years already, just purchased my first evo less than 2 months ago and so far I love it, I know there is a handful of Evos around my way so I'm sure I will meet some of you guys, I'm located in Raleigh, NC and here is my evo 8

Looks good and congrats on the purchase. Make sure you get it tuned after the next mods are installed. Don't forget some kind of boost control. I like the 3-port solenoid but definitely get something. Oh, i recommend getting a new WG actuator. The turbosmart one on mine with the 21psi spring works great!

 

I will be upgraded to a evo 9 turbo here soon also

 

cool, you are on the right path. Although i would save money on the intercooler because the stock unit does fine with the 8/9 turbo's and get yourself some beefier cams and turbo outlet.

 

Trust me, these 8's really need cams. It was worlds different after i got my cams.

 

Yea I have been looking into some 272s or around there, I'm assuming the valve train should be upgraded then also

 

Im running the kelfords on stock springs/retainers with no problems revving to 7k.

Congrats..try using a different licp because the injen one is kind of smaller in size...same story with the uicp has wayy to much bends and its restricted.
