Welcoming myself to Evolutionm.net
I'm here to introduce myself. However, my reasoning for being here may be slightly more odd than most.
To start off, I don't own an Evo, (however I just spent this last week putting a down pipe/exhaust on my buddies Evo8. After dismantling the factory DP/exhaust I found his turbo was junk (some pretty bad shaft play). It'll be time for him to upgrade soon and of course I'll be doing it for him.
However, the reason I am here is simple. A lot of components for the Evo8 are a direct bolt on or 'small' modifications needed to make them fit my car. I'm working on building a '93 Ford Probe GT KLDE and slapping a turbo on it.
It's quite a hand basket of different cars, MSP6, RX7 Turbo, Miata, Millenia, PGT, 626, Evo8 and just about everything else Mazda.
So I'm here to see what you guys have done to the Evo8 so I can try and replicate it to my '93 PGT. If you are interested in seeing my build thread for my PGT, feel free to ask.
