Make sure in writing that the dealer will honor all warranty work because Mitsubishi takes a dim view on playing with the ECU. My son's 2011 Evo X needed a new AYC pump because of corrosion, but the warranty was cancelled after it was found out that the car had been tuned. I forget where the code is stored, but it is not in the ECU.

Thanks for the input everyone. I am going on Friday to pick up my brand new 2014 Evo x gsr with sight and sound package. They are selling it to me for 35,900 plus TTL.

That's the best price I have found and I am super excited to get into this Evo.

Does that sound like a decent price to you guys?

Buying a modded car from a dealer is sketchy, especially an evo. Most of the time modded ones are ready to blow, or the evo was put back to stock. Dealers are worse than private sellers. Their just trying to flip the car for a profit, and know less about the car than the person who owned it. Me personally, I wouldn't buy a modded evo from a dealer.

Yes, very good price. The car is new, it will have a warranty and you will have peace of mind. The other one sounds ok, but this is much better. Buying a used Evo can be sketchy unless you know the owner.

Such a solid price for that '14. Is that an OTD price? I almost took a new 14' for about 37 OTD until I came to my sense and couldn't let go of my 05. Good luck with the car.
