Hi everyone, new to the board here! After much coaxing from my Suby friends, I have finally seen the light of AWD cars. But much to their dismay, I have chosen to sport the diamond star rather then a Subaru. Dont have my EVO as of yet, its on order. 04 EVO RS w/urban jungle package (it gets too dang hot in denver to not have AC). Color hasnt been chosen yet as the dealer hasnt gotten specs, but my name is number 2 on the list of 5 they are receiving. Should know in 2 weeks what color it will be, but I am shooting for white. This is going to be primarily an autocross car, and will be getting the full treatment from David Buschur in the form of a built short block and head package. If he gets a turbo out to compete with the HKS GT3037, then I will also be buying that. Suspension is looking like Cusco bars all around and Tein coils with EDC controller. Exhaust will most likely be the HKS titanium (hey, its 8lbs!!!!) Rolling stock will either be 5Zigen FN or Eneki RPM2 in 17x9. Went for the RS for the SLIGHT cheaper price and the fact that I really didnt want a sunroof, and even though thats an option, try finding one in a normal dealership without it. Also dont want the giant wing for the street driving this car will see here and there, will be purchasing a carbon fiber GT style wing for track days, but the little stocker will be going back on after I leave the track, already know of a few EVO owners who have been pulled over for the stock wing blocking the view of the road, so I am trying to go as low key as possible to keep away from John Law. Looks like a great board over here, glad to be a part of it all!!
