Quick question, I was reading in other threads and other forums as well that turbo timers disable the immobilizer for the evo's ignition making it easier to steal. That isn't true, right?

Laugh at me if i'm wrong lol, but just something I read more than once and i'm planning on doing lots of turbo modifications so I definitely want the turbo and oil temps to rest after daily drives.

 

mine didnt immobilize mine... i can still alarm the car, and when i use my unprogrammed car key to open the door if i dont have my keys with me, i cant start the car soo... i dunno who said it disabled it but i have the hks type 0 full auto with parking break disable hooked up with the plug and play harness so...
