Hello...not exactly a newbie...

So I've been a member on the forum since 2008 but I'm reintroducing myself since I'll be picking up my next, and hopefully final, EVO 9 next weekend. I joined up when I bought my EB SSL and have thoroughly enjoyed this forum. So much useful information and beautiful cars. Not going to reveal the new EVO just yet but I'm super stoked! I'll be posting up pics as soon as I get her home and cleaned up. Looking forward to being part of the EVO world again. It's truly the most amazing car I've ever owned.
I sold my EVO in 2013 after my wife and I bought our first home. Don't necessarily regret the reason for selling but have always missed it. A couple years ago I decided to purchase my first brand new vehicle. A 2015 Camaro 1LE. Now, before you laugh, do some research on the Camaro with the 1LE package. They really are a true drivers car. I ordered specifically the way I wanted it. Luckily they partnered with Recaro to make some amazing seats...AND they were heated! I ended up doing intake, headers, and a nice cam. She made good power but just didn't fill the need. There just isn't anything like boost! So I sold it last week and started the hunt for my next EVO! I found the perfect car and I can't wait to show everybody.

Hey, great to have you back in EvO mode once again

I too came close to selling my RS, but I really enjoy the drive too much & hope for many more years of service

For sure, once you land the 9, you should do a post in Show / Shine or if its going to be build, please post up in the Project Thread forum

Thanks for posting up & we at EvOM are happy to have you back on the boards!

Joe

Not the best quality pictures but here ya go! I picked up this SE a couple weeks ago and immediately got to work on it. I don't plan on doing too much to it since I love a fun stock turbo EVO but I already tinted the windows, changed the oil, cleaned it up a bit and a couple other minor things. Can't wait to do some work on this thing! I have missed the EVO platform more than I thought!

Yes sir very clean. Only you could say is a blemish is the CF SE front lip has some light damage/cracks on the passenger side.
Probably going to sell it and get an OEM lip and paint match it to the front bumper. My state doesn't require tags in the front so I was going to have the holes filled and spray the bumper anyway.
It runs very strong though.
