are they good? Decent? Garbage? Anyone have any experience with them? I can get a decent deal on one but I don't want to bother if it's garbage. Thanks

 

They look flashy and have a 5V preout, but thats about it

 

panasonic makes killer batteries, but only average head units. if you can get it for a good price, go for it. if you're really going for sound quality, go with something better. oh, and avoid sony at all cost.

 

I agree, If you are planning on building a pretty decent stereo, youll need something alot better than Panasonic. For the price of new panasonic you could get something alot better.

 

i bought one 'cus it looked nice - bad idea. it skipped a lot, and so did the one they replaced it with!

i like alpine or kenwood myself. kenwood now has a sick duel-din unit i'd like to get - if i could figure out where it'd fit! i could hook a nav unit up to it AND my iPod!

 

Panasonic is garbage, i just bought a 7200 seies TV and the motorized tilt broke, its like to keep cds, and is has a alsheimer like memory

doh.. just ordered one.... funny i heard that they're decent from some people.... as long as its better than stock and plays mp3s i'll be happy
