Been out of the game for 10 years

Sold my 2003 Evo 8 ten years ago. I’ve missed it so much and now finally buying another one. I’ve been out of the game for a while, which shops around the country are doing cool things with them? AMS and Buschur Racing were the two shops back in the day building cool evos. Seems like those guys are on the GTR’s now.

I think most of the old Evo shops have moved onto GTRs and most people are now doing our own work. Or at least that's how it seems from the threads I've read. It's a rough time to get back into the game man... prices are getting ridiculous. Salvaged Evos are selling for what clean-titled Evos used to sell for and clean-titled cars are selling for what they were new.

I’m trading my Tahoe with a good buddy who has an 06 MR. He wants a larger family vehicle and I want an Evo so it’s working out.

Yeah, I agree. Certainly some nice private EvO builds out there. The one build I would love to mirror is the 2017 winner of the Optima Street Car Challenge (one of the most highly sorted & capable EvOs around)

Anyway, great to hear youre staying w/the CT9A platform. We do have a dedicated Project Thread (you may want to consider posting your MR there)
