Non acd transfer case. Rs Abs delete

Looking to buy an evo9 gsr that has non acd transfer case and rs abs delete. I was wondering why people do this and what does it benefit.

ACD pump is a common point of failure.

I agree with CoachG, the pump fails a lot and so going through the process saves a lot of hassle plus less there is less weight now.

Hello / Welcome @DomeSteez

Yeah, the ACD is a very complex system & actually works very well. But as time goes on & if the EvO has seen the winter wet weather, a failed pump can be experienced

Some members swear by the ACD performance benefits, but if mine ever fails, i would be looking for a delete option as well

The previous owner wanted to save weight and likely was into drag racing. The line of thought being if all I am interested in is going fast in a straight line then I don't need I need ACD or ABS.
