What would be some SMART mods?

Hey guys. I am thinking of picking up a EVO soon. And was wondering what would be some smart mods. I was thinking of a Turbo timer K and N filter and reflash would be good right?

Mini battery kit, I think it takes like 20 pounds off.

Your first (and I would even say second) mod should be a good driver's school. The Evo is more capable than 99% of us who drive one.

It is easy to drive 8/10ths, but to get the most out of it you need to learn on a closed course with some instruction. To me, to make it faster than it is and not improve the driver is a waste of money.

Even if you've been driving other high performance vehicles for 30 years like I have, you can learn some new skills with the Evo.

Just my opinion. Someone on here wisely said, 'the first thing you do to your car is tighten the nut behind the wheel'.

boost gauge and boost controller is a great first mod. as is a turbo timer.
