Newbie...break down on the various models of the Evo?
Hello,
Since my early viewing of an article in Road and Track in the late 90's have I lusted for the Evo.... the legondary rally racer!
Well I'm older now...and can really afford to have a sweet one. So with that said I'm looking for sites or information on the pros and cons of the various models.
I'm looking for performance first...comfort second! LOL
I have read the specs on the new 2005 Evo MR and THAT is what I'm talking about brothers and sisters!
How easy are these puppies to mod....and how much more can I get out of them? I mean christ....at a 4.49 0-60 how much better can you get!
Thanks all and yes...yes..I'm that dreaded supped up Ford Mustang GT you see on the road...LOL But soon to be a Evo'lved soul!
Bring on the Evo-lution!

welcome to the wonderful world of evos!
i've had mine for about 2 months now and i can say that there are only a few super-cheap mods out there. i have: taken my badges off, painted the heat release vents in the hood to match my red, installed a boost gauge and a manual boost controller.
a short shifter would be the only other thing under $200 that i can think of. so i have the feeling that if i go anywhere from here, i'll be spending a whole lot more.
