Are they the same? Is Ralliart or OZ Lancer's trunk the same as Evo's? Of course except the spoiler.

I need to replace crashed trunk in 03 Evo 8 and wonder if I need to buy Evo trunk or any other Lancer's trunk and stick spoiler to it.

And since I'm in Europe I haven't seen other US Lancers (OZ/Ralliart/LS/ES) and do not know it.

So are you guys positive I can buy this LS/ES trunk, stick badges and wing to it and it will be no difference?

 

not 100%, but pretty sure. you can also get a cf one, if you are interested.

 

Assuming the Euro and J-spec are the same as the one we go, the trunks on the '03 Evolutions are the same as the '02 and '03 Lancers we have here in the US.

 

It's US-spec Evo 8 '03. I bought it in US.

From everything I've heard the only body parts that are shared is the front doors.

The trunk is the same as 02-03 ES, model previous to the one in Bman's pic
trunks are not aluminum, only the hood (dealer said)
I'm getting a cf trunk, shipping in the US is $150 or so...better get it over there

For all you guys wondering, I got a Lancer Es trunk from the junkyard. I filled the keyhole and had a guy painted it for me. I love how it looks wingless and they fit perfect.

Yeah, the same as my Evo trunk. They are so light too. When I pop my trunk, the trunk pop open so fast which I like it.
