Well, I've had my Evo for about a week now...and i must say i LOVE this car...ive been reading over the forums for 2 weeks, but decided I would throw up my first post now and introduce myself...

I promised myself I wouldnt mod this car right away...but ive already ordered an Apexi TT (necessity), a cone intake filter, and a flange to install my Greddy Type S from my old car....

anyways...i probably wont post much at first, as i like to read and learn everything I can before I really get involved asking questions and trying to answer them. I'm willing to bet pretty much any question I have has been covered somewhere on the board...

anyways...i'll quit rambling...heres my Yellow Evo8...i traded up from an 03 Jetta 1.8t that i drove for 2 years and also loved

tuning is worse then being a crack head! you cant stop..
did you get an o3 or an 04??? i see that you have a sunroof but no leather?

Hey congrat, I just got my Lightning yellow about 3 weeks ago and yea the deal was good, I think. It came with the boost gauge, strut bar, and front lip splitter thing.

hey i am a newbie also. that is a nice jetta though, i traded up about 2weeks ago from a 02 beetle. it was the special edition double yellow, with the all the options (turbo of course) and the yellow inserts on the wheels and the black and yellow matching leather seats. i liked that car, but my wife loved it. i traded up though, and i am amazed everytime i get in my evo.
