spilled a little gas

i was filling a gas can at my local station and when i put it in my trunk a little gas got into my trunk mat. i took that mat out and scrubed the area and the smell is starting to fade now that i'm airing it out.

my car still has a faint gas smell tho .. what should i do? i've tried driving around w/ the backseats down .. the smell is still there is there a good febreez type of thing i should know about?

my girlfriends friend puked in her car and the only way we got the smell out was to buy this carpet stain freshoner, and then we literally poured half a bottle of fabreeze onto it, let it air out liek that and then "mountain" fresh from then on. I don't know if gas would be as easy or not, probably not, but GOOD LUCK !!!

it should eventually go away, just keep using febreeze for now to make it more tolerable.
