EVO MR, where are you?

... And how much?

Anyone else getting a little 'hot-under-the-collar' waiting for some unconfirmed time to arrival from their dealer and unknown MSRP?

What gives? I'm thinking of saying f$ck it, and getting an STi...

I hear you! The cars a on a boat on their way over and we can't get a price or ETA? I don't really want an STI, but a 00 Civic and a nice down payment on a house are beginning to sound more and more attractive.

Frankly I am not sure how much I care anymore, I am spent. I have waited so long and with so little information, the MR is more of a fantasy than a reality in my mind. If the wait continues much longer I am afraid I will have to designate this one as unattainable. (Standard operating procedure in my mind after the millionth hour of day dream; like sex with… well that list is too long to get into now.)

what gets me is this... i feel like the dealer is basically lying to me with the dates and not making it worth my time to wait... is the Evo MR going to be a hot car, yeah... but to a small group of us... there are not people breaking down the doors at Mitsu to get one.

and, in 1yr, comes the IX... yes, i know evolving is what the evo is about, but damn it. we are still talking about treating a paying customer willing to shell-out $35k with respect, instead of ignoring him/her and leading them on. i could wait for the XI or X and buy something else... not smart on their part, since instead of 2 sales... i would buy the IX or XI and just use the MR full track...

and to add insult to injury, as i wait for my beloved MR, mitsu gives me the finger and then pisses on my wounds by not only offering the FQ MRs in England, but inleashing the FQ-400 as well... f@ck, that was supposed to my MR.

i'm done, 9mnths of waiting and hardship are enough... mitsu doesn't respect us, and neither do the dealers... if either did, i wouldn't be d@cked around and we would have the MR here.

i'm getting my deposit and x-shopping to either subaru or infiniti.

peace y'all.

I was at the dealership today. They told me $35,000 and that theirs was to arrive very, very soon. I was told a few weeks at the latest.

Be patient my little friend...just know that Import tuner's latest issue shows that the evo pushes a faster time in the quarter...just imagine what the MR can do! "good things come to those who wait!"

Man...I drive an ES...BAH
