Newbie: how do i know if my car has DRL?
 

Im driving a 04' LANCER LS. i bought it in mexico. (im a mexican BTW).
Does DRL keep your lights on at all time?
My car doesnt seems to has such a feature. Maybe its imported.

yes DRL lights are permanently on when the car is running

but my car doesnt turn on the lights when i start the engine, they stay off until i use the switch located at the steering wheel. So is it safe to install a HID kit? i read that all us lancer had DRL by default. but as i said if mine is imported then its possible to have drl dissabled by default.

yes you will be able to run an hid kit, you dont have drl.
