"Two Howell Michigan men, one a player on the semi-pro football team Michigan Twisters, died early Saturday when their car veered out of control and rolled over multiple times while traveling at high speed around 130mph on I-96 west just after Kensington Road in Brighton Mi, police said.

Art Cunnings, 32, and David Hawes, 29, died on the scene from their injuries after they were ejected from a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution around 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle was believed to be going faster than the speed limit.

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt, said Michigan State Police trooper Jeff Frasier."

Wreckless driving....they should have known their limits and if they are going to race...couldn't they have race responsibly...its a bad look.

Its bad enough that there not wearing their seatbelts. We know it was wreckless, he payed the price end of story.

130, the guys are dead with or without the seatbelt. To get ejected they must've hit something and hitting something that 130mph in a unibody car is asking for a death certificate.

You never know, seriously if they could of lived with seatbelts. Im sorry but if I had to take the chances at 130mph crash with or without a seatbelt, im taking the seatbelt.

Because other peoples irresponsibilities affect every1 else!! come on bro... 130MPH!! no seat belts thru a turn?!?!? ok yea we all speed and have gone close to 130 on a public road, but w/o a seat belt is just not very smart, especially when you have a future ahead of you! you cannot prevent from people dying but you can be safer. i really feel bad for their families!! it hurts soo much to loose sum1 this way!! {thumbdwn}

that is horrible, and i agree they should have had the seatbelt on...and like was said before, not sure how much of a difference it would have made at 130

Speeding or not... the punishment doesnt fit the crime (speeding+no seatbelt doesnt=death).
